I’m beyond thrilled to share that I was selected as a recipient of the Kim Parsell Memorial Scholarship —an honor that still feels surreal. At just 23 years old, this opportunity allowed me to travel outside of India for the very first time ✈️🇮🇳, to attend WordCamp Asia 2025 in the Philippines 🇵🇭. It was nothing short of a dream come true 🌟.
From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by the vibrant energy of the WordPress community 🧑💻🌐—people from all over the world who contribute to something bigger than themselves. I had the chance to meet contributors, leaders, and members of the WordPress Foundation in person 🤝💙, many of whom I had only known virtually. It was in those moments that I truly realized: my contributions to WordPress matter 💪✨.
This experience deeply reinforced the legacy of Kim Parsell—a woman whose work and spirit continue to empower others like me 👩💻❤️.
