About Me

In 2023, I attended the WordPress 20th Anniversary celebration for the first time, organized by the WordPress Ahmedabad Community. This was my first WordPress event, and through it, I had the opportunity to connect with several community members and learn more about the community itself.

Soon after, I started contributing to the WordPress community, and the beginners community was very supportive, giving me opportunities to showcase my skills on this platform. I earned my first two badges for photo contribution and translation contribution, which was a great start for anyone new to contributing in the WordPress community.

I also began attending meetups in my local city, Ahmedabad, and later participated in WordCamps. These events helped me grow my skills and expand my knowledge. Through networking with new people, I gained valuable insights and shared my own experiences. I am happy to continue contributing to the community.

The WordPress Ahmedabad Community gave me the chance to showcase my passion for WordPress by helping to organize WordCamp Ahmedabad 2023. It was a truly memorable experience. Working alongside the community, I learned a lot about managing events, and the community members were always there to guide and support me in every way.

In 2024, I had the honor of organizing the Do_Action Ahmedabad 2024 charity event, hosted by the WordPress Ahmedabad community. I contributed to several areas, including as a Pattern Author, WordCamp Organizer, and Training Contributor, earning badges along the way. However, for me, it’s not just about the badges—it’s about truly contributing to the WordPress community.

One of my main goals is to empower women within the WordPress community. I aim to set an example by showing how women can skillfully lead and grow the community.

Additionally, I participated in the WordPress Contributor Mentorship 2024 Q4 Cohort Program as a mentee, where I learned a great deal. I also had the opportunity to test WordPress 6.7, marking my first experience contributing to a WordPress release. I’m proud to have my name listed in the WordPress 6.7 “Rollins” release for core contributions—another proud moment in my journey.

In 2025, I continued my journey as an organizer for WordCamp Ahmedabad 2025. I expanded my contributions to several areas, including as a Core Contributor, WordPress.tv Contributor, and an active member of the Training Team channel.

I was honored to receive the Kim Parsell Memorial Scholarship 2025 from the WordCamp Central Team, allowing me to attend the flagship WC Asia 2025 event—a dream come true. I also volunteered at WC Asia 2025, gaining invaluable learning experiences.

Additionally, I’m organizing the WP Nari Ahmedabad 2025 event and Accessibility Day 2025. I continue contributing to WordPress 6.8 “Cecil” with my name listed again for core contributions.
